大宇宙に挑む、高校生ライダー誕生！！「人は言うかもしれない。『チャレンジするにもほどがある！！』と」
企画書にある一文だが製作陣の意気込みを示すものだ。
このマスクひとつを見てもその意気込みを感じることができる。
Ｗ、オーズと比較的正統派のデザインが続いただけに、このインパクトは抜群だ。
翼らしき意匠のついたロケットのようなこのマスク、
まるで宇宙服を髣髴とさせるボディーにはもちろん理由がある。
フォーゼはズバリ、宇宙を目指すライダーなのだ。
１９６１年、ソ連（当時）の宇宙飛行士ユーリ・ガガーリンが
「地球は青かった」の名言を残してから今年で５０年。
昨年、日本の小惑星探査機「はやぶさ」が、６０億kmの旅を経てイトカワの粒子採取に成功するなど、
人類は本格的な宇宙開拓時代を迎えつつある。
フォーゼはそうした時代背景のもとに生まれた宇宙ライダーなのだ。
今年で４０周年を迎える仮面ライダーシリーズにとって、宇宙空間は残された数少ない活躍の舞台である。
フォーゼは重力の楔を断ち切って大宇宙へ飛び出す初のライダーとなるのである。

今回の『フォーゼ』が学園ドラマであるという点だ。
フォーゼに変身する如月弦太朗は、天の川学園高校の転校生。
「学園の生徒全員と友達になる」と宣言した彼は「仮面ライダー部」を設立し、
そこで歌星賢吾と知り合う。
その賢吾が持っていたフォーゼドライバーが、弦太朗の運命を大きく変える・・・。
宇宙＋学園ドラマ。
この二つが出会う時、どんな新しいドラマが紡ぎ出されるのだろうか？
シリーズの新たな可能性を示すこの大胆かつ斬新な「チャレンジ」に期待しよう。

"Fourze" is related to the life in the campus.
Kisaragi tsuru Taro ,who transformed to Masked Rider Fourze, is studying in Galaxy College.
He alleges that he will make friends with all the people in the school. He organises the "Masked Rider Club" where he makes friend with Uta Hoshi Kengo.
Kengo owns the Fourze Driver (*That's why there is a rumor that Kengo is the one who transformed to Fourze)
What will happen if Universe and School theme combined together?

フォーゼの基本形態であり、ロケットと宇宙服をモチーフとしたその姿は、
まさに宇宙ライダーとしての存在を強烈にアピールしている。
その宇宙ライダーとしての戦闘能力や従来のようなフォームチェンジの有無など、
まだまだ謎に包まれている部分も多い。
戦闘方法にもあるいは画期的な「チャレンジ」を見せてくれるのかもしれない。

●ロケットモジュール
仮面ライダーフォーゼは、フォーゼドライバーにアストロスイッチを装填し、
その力を四肢に反映させることができる。
右腕のベースとなるのがこのロケットアームだ。
このアームこそ、フォーゼが大宇宙へ挑む力になるのであろうか？
そして残りの左腕、両足に反映される能力とは？
徐々に明らかになっていくそれらの能力も、シリーズの大きな楽しみである。
